Collage of Mostly Archival Silver Gelatin B/W Prints
Most of these images where taken in the late 80’s and early 90’s in and around Vern Harpers Sweat Lodge near Quelph Ontario and also on my travels across the country of Canada and the USA with Vern and family members. The center was painted by a friend artist Phil Ogison, which is of the Sacred Pipe through a Grandfather Stone.
Images include – P4W (Prison for Women Inmates), Rubin Hurricane Carter, Chief Arvol Looking Horse 19th Generation Keeper of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe Bundle, Hopi Medicine man Tomas, Apache medicine man Sirvando, Vern’s sons, wive, daughters and many other Sweat Lodge regulars from that time period.
